Our Story
Originating in Toronto, Ontario, Duffloo was conceived by Hassan Jamil in July 2022. The spark ignited when Hassan, while doing laundry with his spouse, mused about the contrasting sentiments people have towards laundry. This led to the idea of bridging the gap between those who relish doing laundry and those who prefer to avoid it—a peer-to-peer network where laundry enthusiasts can earn by providing their services to others.
An extensive investigation into the laundry industry and its competitors ensued, followed by in-depth community research to understand the diverse laundry needs of Torontonians. Hassan discovered that while peer-to-peer laundry services flourished in other nations, Canada was yet to explore this avenue.
Thus, Duffloo emerged to fill this void, offering a peer-to-peer laundry service that epitomizes quality and convenience. It's not just a service; it's a community — proudly Toronto, neighbour helping neighbour, in every exchange.
