What Hero work looks like in Etobicoke

Etobicoke is long and narrow, running from the lake up to Rexdale and Thistletown, so the first thing to settle is how far you're happy to drive. It usually pays to keep your radius tight, because a trip from Long Branch to Humber Summit can take as long as the wash cycle.

Down by the water, Humber Bay Shores and Mimico are mostly towers. Customers there often leave bags with a concierge or in a parcel room, so a pickup can be as quick as a stop at the front desk. Further in, Long Branch, New Toronto and The Kingsway are house streets, where bags tend to wait on a porch or by a side door.

Up north around Rexdale and Islington-City Centre West you'll see a mix of apartments and family homes, and family homes usually mean family-sized loads: towels, bedding and kids' clothes in one go.

Parking is rarely the headache it is downtown. Plan your pickups around the Gardiner and Highway 427 at rush hour and the rest of the day is easy.

Questions about Etobicoke

Do I have to cover all of Etobicoke?

No. You set your own service radius, so someone in Mimico can stick to the lakeshore and someone in Rexdale can stay up north.

Which postal codes count as Etobicoke here?

Every M8 and M9 district we serve, including M9L, M9M and M9N at the city's north-west edge.

Pay, and what you need

How you are paid

You are paid per order, every week: the pay week runs Saturday to Friday, and pay goes to your bank account the following Tuesday.

You keep 100% of every tip — Duffloo never takes a cut of a tip.

Your pay never falls below minimum wage. If a week's engaged-time pay lands under the Ontario minimum, Duffloo tops up the difference.

New: $25 bonus after your first 2 completed orders — first 8 Heroes only.

You are paid per order, and you keep 100% of every tip. Our most active Heroes have earned over $5,000 in a month — that is not typical, and it takes a full schedule with larger loads. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on the orders you accept and complete, order size, and your area.
