What Hero work looks like in North York
North York has two quite different kinds of pickup. Along the Yonge corridor, from Sheppard up to Finch, nearly everything is in condo towers: you'll rely on buzzer codes, visitor parking rules and concierge desks that may or may not accept bags. Customers are asked to put those details in the booking notes.
West and south, in Downsview, Bathurst Manor, Don Mills and York Mills, there are many more houses, where a porch pickup takes a minute.
Near York University, plenty of customers live in residences or shared buildings where one laundry room serves a whole floor. An order there might be a full week of one student's clothes, so read the care choices before you sort.
North York is wide, stretching from Downsview across to Flemingdon Park. Because it borders Etobicoke, the West End, Midtown, East York and Scarborough, a Hero who lives near an edge can set a radius that reaches across a boundary.
Questions about North York
Is North York one area or two?
We dispatch it as two, M2 to the north and M3 to the west and centre, but you apply once and set one service radius from your home.
How do condo pickups work?
Follow the customer's notes: buzzer code, where to park, and whether the concierge holds bags. When the front desk takes them, the hand-off is quick.
Pay, and what you need
How you are paid
You are paid per order, every week: the pay week runs Saturday to Friday, and pay goes to your bank account the following Tuesday.
You keep 100% of every tip — Duffloo never takes a cut of a tip.
Your pay never falls below minimum wage. If a week's engaged-time pay lands under the Ontario minimum, Duffloo tops up the difference.
New: $25 bonus after your first 2 completed orders — first 8 Heroes only.
You are paid per order, and you keep 100% of every tip. Our most active Heroes have earned over $5,000 in a month — that is not typical, and it takes a full schedule with larger loads. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on the orders you accept and complete, order size, and your area.
