What Hero work looks like in Scarborough
Scarborough is mostly houses and townhouses, with towers clustered around Scarborough City Centre, Agincourt and Kingston Road. For a Hero, that means a lot of front-porch and garage-door pickups, where the customer leaves the bags out before the window starts.
Expect plenty of household laundry. Families send bedding, towels and school uniforms together, and duvets and comforters come through as large items. Make sure your dryer can handle a full load of towels, and that you have a rack for anything marked hang dry.
It's a big area, from Birch Cliff and the Bluffs all the way to Malvern and the Rouge. Pick a radius that matches how you get around: the 401 and Kingston Road move you quickly between neighbourhoods, while side streets in Guildwood and Highland Creek are quiet and easy to park on.
For the towers, check the order notes before you leave. Customers add buzzer codes and say whether the lobby is staffed, which saves a phone call on the doorstep.
Questions about Scarborough
Can I take orders only in my part of Scarborough?
Yes. Your service radius decides which orders you see, so Agincourt and Malvern can be your whole area if you want them to be.
Do Scarborough customers send bulky items?
Some do. Duvets and comforters are handled as large items, so it's worth knowing whether your machines can take them before you accept.
Pay, and what you need
How you are paid
You are paid per order, every week: the pay week runs Saturday to Friday, and pay goes to your bank account the following Tuesday.
You keep 100% of every tip — Duffloo never takes a cut of a tip.
Your pay never falls below minimum wage. If a week's engaged-time pay lands under the Ontario minimum, Duffloo tops up the difference.
New: $25 bonus after your first 2 completed orders — first 8 Heroes only.
You are paid per order, and you keep 100% of every tip. Our most active Heroes have earned over $5,000 in a month — that is not typical, and it takes a full schedule with larger loads. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on the orders you accept and complete, order size, and your area.
