How an order goes
Accept an order near you in the Duffloo Washer Hero app, pick up the bags from the customer's door, wash, dry and fold at home following the customer's care choices, then deliver the clean laundry back and take a delivery photo.
What Hero work looks like in the East End and Beaches
The Beaches, Leslieville, Gerrard India Bazaar and the Studio District are mostly semis and detached houses with front porches. For a Hero, that makes pickups simple: the customer leaves the bags out, labelled with their name, before the window starts.
Orders here often include beach towels, gym kit and running gear alongside everyday clothes. Watch for items marked hang dry in the customer's preferences, especially technical fabrics that shouldn't go in a hot dryer.
The area is small and well connected along Queen Street East and Gerrard, so a short radius covers most of it. Side streets can be narrow, but stopping briefly outside a house is usually straightforward.
Riverdale and the Danforth are close by but belong to our Downtown and Midtown area, which is worth knowing if you live on the border.
Summer brings sandy towels and swimwear from days at Woodbine Beach. Give anything sandy a good shake outside before it goes near your washer, and check pockets twice: sand, shells and the odd bottle cap end up in the drum otherwise.

Your pay never falls below minimum wage. If a week's engaged-time pay lands under the Ontario minimum, Duffloo tops up the difference.
