What Hero work looks like Downtown and in Midtown

This is the most built-up area we serve, from CityPlace and King West on the waterfront up to Davisville, Yonge and Eglinton, and Lawrence Park. Most downtown pickups are in condo towers, where the concierge or a parcel room is often the hand-off point.

Street parking is tight, so plan for it. Walking to nearby buildings, or driving at quieter hours, can save a lot of circling. When the lobby accepts bags, use it; it's faster than waiting at an elevator with a cart.

In the older parts of the area, The Annex, Riverdale and Leaside, you'll find houses and walk-ups where bags wait in a porch or vestibule. Those pickups feel a lot more like the suburbs.

Because the area is dense, a small radius can be enough. Someone living near St. Lawrence or Church and Wellesley might never need to leave a 15-minute walk of home, depending on the day's orders.

Questions about Downtown & Midtown

Can I do this without a car downtown?

It depends on the orders you accept. Some Heroes walk to buildings close by. You need a dependable way to carry bags, and you can keep your radius small.

Which neighbourhoods are included?

Everything from the waterfront north to Lawrence Park, including Riverdale and the Danforth (M4J, M4K) and Leaside (M4G).

Pay, and what you need

How you are paid

You are paid per order, every week: the pay week runs Saturday to Friday, and pay goes to your bank account the following Tuesday.

You keep 100% of every tip — Duffloo never takes a cut of a tip.

Your pay never falls below minimum wage. If a week's engaged-time pay lands under the Ontario minimum, Duffloo tops up the difference.

New: $25 bonus after your first 2 completed orders — first 8 Heroes only.

You are paid per order, and you keep 100% of every tip. Our most active Heroes have earned over $5,000 in a month — that is not typical, and it takes a full schedule with larger loads. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on the orders you accept and complete, order size, and your area.
